Gujarat ATS said that these four have been identified as Mohammad Nusrat, Mohammad Faris, Mohammad Rasdin and Mohammad Nafran. ATS said that all these accused are citizens of Sri Lanka. Gujarat ATS said that from the recovered items it has also been revealed that the four ISIS terrorists had conspired to carry out a terrorist attack somewhere in India under the banner of Islamic State, for which they had reached Ahmedabad. On this matter, Gujarat DGP Vikash Sahay said that these four terrorists had boarded the flight from Chennai to Ahmedabad. The arrests of these four were made after scrutinizing the information and list of passengers coming from the south. The DGP said that all four are completely radicalized by the ideology of ISIS and had come to India to carry out the terrorist attack.
All four terrorists were traveling in Colombo on the same PNR – DGP
According to the information, they were to reach Ahmedabad on 18th or 19th May by railway or flight. Based on the information received, a trap was made. After which the passenger lists of trains and flights coming from the South were scrutinized. The DGP said that all these passengers were traveling in Colombo on the same PNR number.
